New baby tie dye 'onesies' in several styles and colors.
New children and adult size tie dye t-shirts in several styles and colors.
I have more product to add in the coming months but these are a start on the new 2008 products.
The Celtic knotwork necklaces are now on the site here: http://www.craftmouse.com/index.php?a
Thank you to everyone who voted for these lovely items.
I have opened an entire section dedicated to just our tie dye product line since it has turned out to be much more popular than I ever anticipated when I first started offering them.
I've also started carrying a few shirt designs in sizes up to 5X.
If you wonder why some tie dyes aren't available in all sizes it is because of the nature of the dying process. Either it would take too much die to make it cost efficient *or* there is so much material there that a proper 'tie' cannot be done for the design. This also applies to smaller sizes. Child size 2 USA Flag shirts often do not come out properly 'striped' because of the smaller amount of material in the shirt.
You can see the new department here: http://www.craftmouse.com/index.php?act=v
I also have a *bunch* of new hand beaded jewelry to put on the site but haven't had the opportunity to get the photos taken. Once I do, I'll post a message about the new products with links.
I've added a couple of new sarong's as well, I know we are in mid summer, but they can be used for more than just as a sarong. My favorite is displayed on the homepage in the "Specials" section. It is called Parker Blue. Those of you who know me personally will get the joke there. :P
Anyway, I hope to add a few more items soon, I'm working on some children's dresses, currently in youth size 2-4. They are tie dye t-shirt tops with screen printed designs with a boutique style 3 tier 'twirl skirt' attached. They make great play dresses for little girls. I also have some hand dyed solid color baby clothing done, but not photographed yet as I'm thinking of adding custom screen print options to them.
Perhaps offer your child's name on them? Hopefully I'll have those added as soon as I get them done.
Also I'm working on more women's clothing as well. My one dress design has been commented on a lot, and I hope to add an adult version of the 'twirl skirt' or what some may call gypsy or tiered and/or gored skirts. These will be made with hand dyed materials and will range in size from women's size small to plus sizes.
Hoping that sometime in the near future I'll be able to earn enough off the site to purchase a serger and a couple of multi sized dress forms to make sewing easier, but for now, everything is made the old fashioned way on a standard sewing machine. :)
Those of you who have placed orders already this year, thank you and I hope to have some special items just for previous buyers.
We have added products to several categories in the store.
Under Men's Wear , Children's Clothes, and Women's Wear we now have several different styles of tie dye t-shirts. They start at child size 2 and go up to adult 3X. Prices start at $9.95. The base shirts are Hanes 100% heavy weight cotton.
We have also added a number of Home Decor items and we hope to add more in the near future.
I am also working on several baby and toddler outfits and embossed velvet fabric for throw pillows.
Boutique style children's clothing might be something I add in the near future as well.
Craft Mouse is now open for business (again).
The new site has registration and login options which will help with placing orders and reorders by saving your address information so you don't have to input it every time. And the entire site is hosted on a secure dedicated server so your information always remains private.
Product lines are being added all the time, right now we have a number of children's and baby's clothing items we are working on to get on the site soon. I hope to get a few models for them from my mother's church rather than just shooting them on hangers as I would have to do now since I don't have small children about myself.
New jewelry has been added and several new scarves and new sarongs are actually soaking in dye baths as I type this (with pruned fingers no less).
I am extremely pleased with the new design and the new shopping cart and hope it makes the shopping experience better.
Shipping prices have also changed somewhat and they are now more reasonable rates.
We hope to add some nice things for Father's Day in June if I can get the time to do them! I'm working on tie dyed ties and handkerchief's for men who are stuck in corporate jobs having to wear suits daily but would like to wear tie dye instead. I know my own doctor who is a hippie complete with dancing Grateful Dead bears in his backglass of his Mercedes will love them. :)

Frequently asked questions:
What's with the mouse?
My 12 year old son came up with the name Craft Mouse and I sort of ran with the idea and created a cute little mouse logo, and then decided to name her Daisy...so everyone...meet Daisy Mouse. :)
What sort of dye do you use?
Professional procion fiber reactive dyes. These are permanent dyes and do not wash out....I got some on my dog once...trust me the stuff does NOT wash out!
I like such and such scarf but my favorite color is blue...can I get that same scarf in blue?
Yes. All of our products can be custom dyed. Got a little girl who hates pink but you like one of the children's dresses in pink? Tell us what color you want...and tell us the child's name and we'll include that on the design too! Almost all of our products can be personalized.
Is it really silk?
Our silk products are real Chinese silk, though we are working on getting supplies for Thai and Indian silk...sort of 'fabrics of the world' I guess.
Can I iron velvet?
Yes and no. NEVER iron on the front 'fuzzy' side or you'll ruin it and possibly ruin your iron too! If you must iron velvet do so on synthetic setting on the BACK of the scarf or turn a pillow cushion inside out or shirt...whatever the velvet is on. It may take on a crushed look though, keep that in mind.
Can I get *anything* in a custom gift basket order?
Almost. We don't have a liquor license so no wine unfortunately but we can put practically anything in a gift basket, bear in mind custom ones can get pricey as we can't always get wholesale discounts on items in limited quanities, but we feel sure the price will be competitive. As for a quote, they are free after all! :)
Where besides the website can I buy your products?
We have both an Etsy online store and an Ebay online store both can be reached by links from our site. Also, at the present time we are negotiating with a gallery/boutique in Heber Springs, AR to carry some of our products.
Thanks for friending Craft Mouse! We hope you'll enjoy your time with us and that you'll think of us for all your gift giving needs.
